From Eluru to Hyderabad
Born in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, and raised in Hyderabad, Uday’s creative journey has been shaped by performance, cinema, culture, and cross-cultural storytelling.
Discovering the Stage
Uday discovered his passion for performance at an early age. After moving to Toronto at the age of 16, he began building his presence in the North American South Asian arts community through dance, stage performances, and cultural productions. His performances have been featured at prominent platforms and cultural events including the Carassauga Festival, Panorama India, and Colours of India, as well as events presented by TCAGT, TACA, TANA, and ATA.
From Performance to Filmmaking
His journey from dance and live performance gradually led him into acting and filmmaking. Today, Uday’s creative work spans film, choreography, modeling, screenwriting, lyric writing, and independent film production. Through Uday Productions, he develops film, music, and visual projects focused on cinematic storytelling and creative expression.

As an actor, Uday brings a versatile and multicultural perspective to his performances. Fluent in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and English, he is able to connect with diverse characters, stories, and audiences. His experiences living in both India and Canada have also influenced his approach to storytelling and his understanding of different cultures.

Alongside his career in the entertainment industry, Uday holds an Honours Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from Ontario Tech University. His background in technology and the creative arts gives him a unique perspective that combines technical knowledge with artistic expression.
